What started as a side project grew into a thriving business just as golf carts were exploding in popularity. Today, Lakes Area Golf Carts is the go-to spot in the Chisago Lakes region for new, pre-owned, and fully customized carts.

According to the team, it’s simple, a genuine commitment to customer happiness. Whether you’re buying, servicing, or just stopping by for advice, the focus is on making sure every customer leaves satisfied. That dedication to service is why their reputation has spread beyond Lindstrom and into Forest Lake, North Branch, and beyond.
And these aren’t your grandfather’s carts. Many of their models are Low Speed Vehicles (LSVs), street-legal and ready to replace short trips by car. Sean happened to get into the business at a very good time, since the local community is aging, and LSV’s have recently become very popular.

Like many of us who now call Lindstrom home, the owner wasn’t born here, but chose the area for its community. That sense of gratitude shines through in how they run the business. As he puts it:
“My wife, Kelly and I found this area after searching out where we would like to raise our young boy who is now 8. We couldn’t have gotten any more lucky than here!”
